Lion King and Swan Princess Similarities

Here is a Disney & Non-Disney comparison/similarity that i wanted to make. It's about two animated franchises that first started with two 2D animated movies that came out the same year. In 1994.

Disney's The Lion King & New Line Cinema's/Richard Rich's The Swan Princess.

As i have noticed.....they happen to have similar character-traits. Let's check them each.

SIMBA & DEREK:
Both are heroic princes that are excited for adventures and dangers.

NALA & ODETTE:
Both are very kind and friendly girls. They also help their love interests.

MUFASA & WILLIAM:
Both fathers are very well-respected kings and rules their kingdoms with care and dignity. They both sadly get killed by the villains.

SARABI & UBERTA:
Both are very caring queens and good mothers to their sons.

SCAR & ROTHBART:
Both are the big baddies of their movies and have very cool villain songs. They also kill off a main character's father who happened to be a king.

ZAZU & LORD ROGERS:
Both are advisors and major-domos to their respective king/queens. They also can be funny in certain scenarios.

TIMON & JEAN-BOB:
The small animal guys standing on two legs. (sometimes four when they have to run) They are more the wiseguys of the animal sidekicks. They can at times get annoyed by their own animal comrades.

PUMBAA & SPEED:
The big dudes with hearts of gold. Both are laid-back and wants to be more helpful to the main protagonists.

RAFIKI & PUFFIN:
Kinda of an odd comparison, but i think there's more to these two characters than meets the eye. Both these characters have more skilled abilities. While Puffin can actually fly with his anywhere in the land, Rafiki is a wise mandrill that carries a long stick. Both can also have their funny moments. Also....they can both do karate! 

THE HYENAS & THE ALLIGATORS:
While the hyenas do have a main villain to work, and the alligators don't.....they all are predators that are hungry and minor villains of their movies. They are animals that wants to eat something.

VITANI & BRIDGET:
The female henchmen who worked most of their with their respective villains. However, they later switch sides from bad to good in the near end of their movies.

ZIRA & ZELDA:
Both are sequel villains and coincidentally....they're both female baddies. They're like the bad kitties for the heroes (although Zira actually is a feline), and they prove to be threatening on their own.

KIARA & ALISE:
They're both the daughters of their respective main characters. They're also very cute and curious adventurers. They also have their own parents that cares for them.

KOVU & LUCAS:
These boys are like the young tramps of their movies. They're also the ones that befriends a royal daughter. (Kiara/Alise)
While Kovu is the Outsider-lion cub, Lucas is the poor-village boy.
